Sekiten    Downtown

Sekiten

`Sekiten` is a ritual about Confucius and his leading disciple that is held every November 23 at Ashikaga Gakko (School) (National Historic Site, Japanese Heritage).
Today, it is a very rare event that remains in only a few places in Japan, such as the Yushima Cathedral in Tokyo.
In addition to this `Sekiten`, the Ashikaga Autumn Festival, including `Ashikaga Gakko Sama Festival` will be held around the Ashikaga Gakko.
