Ashikaga Machinaka Yuugakukan Downtown Tourist Facilities Things to do・Activities

　Ashikaga Machinaka Yuugakukan was opened in March 2003 as a facility to familiarize, enjoy, and learn about the history, culture, and nature of Ashikaga.
When re-opened in November 2016 after renewal, Ashikaga Machinaka Yugakukan has opened a rest space for tourists who enjoy walking around the city.
We also exhibit materials related to textiles which is a traditional industry of Ashikaga, various tourism information, and the material related to the `Movie City Ashikaga Promotion Project`.
For going to the historical site Ashikaga Gakko (School), we recommend the course that you walk the stone-paved avenue beside Machinaka Yugakukan.
You can enjoy walking with passing through the Confucius statue and pine-tree avenue on the way.
